weigh in SFS
So when I started blogging here, I think I had about 20-25 pounds to lose. Now I have 30 to lose, maybe 30 if I can pull it off.
I've been losing .5 pounds per morning for a few days.
So, I'm down 2.5 pounds.

I had 2 small blueberry pancakes
a slice of wheat bread with honey and butter
an apple
and mac and cheese with hot dogs
Now that's a winner of a dinner.
I did 30 minutes of personal trainer on Kinect.

chicken enchilada (cafe rio)
rice
black beans
2 slices of pepperoni pizza
I didn't have any snacks and that's probably all there is positive to say about my eating today.
I didn't do any formal exercise but I was kind of active and very pooped at the end of the day. Tomorrow I do my big walk, so that will be good!

I had toast for breakfast, a sandwich of peanut butter and honey for lunch, and for dinner I ate fried rice (home made, no msg).
For exercise I did some deep cleaning and some Kinect.
Probably not enough exercise, but an overall active day.
Someone be honest with me... am I eating too much? I'm not seeing any results yet. Honesty. Be brutal if you need to be.

1 medium banana
peanut butter and apricot jelly sandwich on wheat bread
.5 large apple
.5 c. ice cream
.5 c. white rice
.25 c chili
I did 45 minutes of exercises on the Kinect. I'm still learning what I like and spent the majority of that time doing kick boxing. I didn't really burn that many calories though, at least according to the X Box. I was glad I did something though, as I still haven't made it back to the pool in recent days... (almost 2 weeks)

1 c. white rice with 1/4c. chili
I had another slice of wheat bread with a little butter and some honey
and 1/2 c. phish food ice cream
I did about 25 minutes on the Kinect
I'm fighting a cold (and so are my kids) so I'm trying to get motivated to exercise but it's hard when you're not feeling super duper.

turkey, potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberries, jello salad, roll
yes, we had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. My little brother is going on his mission next week so we had it early.
It was yummy but my sugars were really out of control all day yesterday. Mostly I think because I'm coming down with a cold. And partly because I ate too much jello salad.
I didn't do any exercise

Exercise: My husband brought home a new XBOX Kinect last night. We had a fun time dancing and river rafting. The Kinect is kind of like the Wii except your body is the controller. I also did quite a bit of walking.

rice and chicken with broccoli casserole
too much leftover Halloween candy
Yesterday I had lots of energy so I got some good activity in:
pulled the kids in the wagon to and from school for pick up (ie. once, not both trips)
mowed my Sandy on-a-hill lawn
If I could keep myself away from the candy, I could keep my blood sugar under control. Someone stop me from raiding the candy bowl!!!

NaBoPoMo
Did you know that November is National Blog Posting Month (NaBoPoMo)? It is also National Novel Writing Month, and National Diabetes Awareness Month. So... what to blog about? Well, I'm not a Novel Writer, so that's out. I do have diabetes, but that's no fun to blog about, most days. On this blog, I'm making a goal to blog each day this month about my diet and exercise. On my other blog, I'm making a goal to blog about one thing I'm grateful for each day in the month of November.
I didn't write down what I ate yesterday. It wasn't a lot but it was way too much sugar. I had troubles with my blood sugar and a mild emotional break down.
Today I'm doing well but that Halloween candy is sure not making things easy. My energy is up so much today! I've accomplished lots and have wanted to do different activities. I'm glad that I'm feeling more energy, and hopeful that my thyroid is stabilizing.
